TODAY:

Say hello to the herons at Coombe Abbey.

heron - Say hello to the herons at Coombe Abbey. [A FREE Thing To Do Today] Price: Free Time: 1-3 hours
Coombe Abbey's herons spend half the year in Africa - but from January to June they're resident in Coventry, and with over 60 pairs of herons regularly settling here, you're in with a good chance of spotting them. Take some binoculars and have a wander through Coombe Abbey Country Park, off Brinklow Road in Binley. There's even the Heron Cafe to stop off at (but don't worry, they're not on the menu).
